For college football fans, it really is the most wonderful time of the year. The college football bowl game season brings some of the best competition in the game. And, for players, the spirit of gift giving associated with this time of year is alive and well through pretty high-end giveaways for student-athletes.

College football has looked a little different in recent years, with the introduction of the College Football Playoff leading up to the National Championship Game. The Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl have served as the semifinal games, and therefore the bowl game swag has been pretty solid.

This year, TCU and Michigan faced off in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, and walked away with plenty of good physical products. According to Front Office Sports, the Frogs and Wolverines left the stadium with a Blackstone tabletop griddle, a YETI Roadie cooler, a HydrateSpark Pro insulated water bottle and a branded Nike backpack, among other products.

Michigan wide receiver A.J. Henning also went on social media to post some of his haul from Nike and Jordan, including T-shirts, sandals, sneakers and more.

TCU's Ronald Lewis posted a similar video, and lamented that there was "no tech. Big L."

So, you heard it here, folks: the kids want tech products in addition to apparel!

As for the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Georgia and Ohio State players received a $400 Mastercard gift card, as well as branded watches and personalized footballs.

Now, TCU and Georgia will face off in the championship game next Monday. There's no report yet about what products the players will receive, but you can imagine it will be something good. (Maybe even some tech toys.)
