The Pitt Panthers didn't expect a warm welcome when they arrived in Kalamozoo, but the greeting they were met with was "embarrassing" according to head coach Pat Narduzzi.
Narduzzi said after the game that he felt fine about everything that happened in Week 3 outside of the police escort coming into the game. The Panthers head coach said fans were throwing bottles at Pitt players.
"It was embarrassing," Narduzzi said. "I'm not happy with the fans throwing bottles at our kids. Felt like I was down in Morgantown, I guess. I don't know. Throwing stuff at our kids is a classless move."
Pitt walked out 34-13 winners against the Broncos, silencing a home opener crowd.
